About
The Pomegranate House was founded in 2023 by Georgina Wessels.
Georgina has long had a strong interest in architecture, historic buildings and the way thoughtful design can shape how a house is lived in. After graduating from the University of St Andrews in 2002 with an MA in Art History, she went on to renovate, build and design several homes of her own in London, Wiltshire and Croatia.
Over the past two years Georgina has worked on a number of significant residential projects across Dorset, Hampshire and London, alongside smaller decorating commissions. Her work ranges from interior decoration and furnishing schemes to spatial planning and hands-on project management, helping clients shape homes that feel both considered and comfortable.
Alongside her own projects, Georgina also gained valuable professional experience working with Flora Soames Ltd, further developing her understanding of colour, materials and the layering of interiors.
Through The Pomegranate House, Georgina works closely with a small number of clients each year, offering thoughtful design guidance and a highly personal approach to creating timeless, characterful interiors.
Georgina’s work typically includes:
Interior decoration and furnishing schemes
Spatial planning and room layouts
Colour palettes and material selection
Project management during renovation
Sourcing furniture, lighting and fabrics
